Well thanks to all the guys that turned up for the latest installment of the munchkin wars. It was great to see jenny and hayley come along and i think they enjoyed themself's. So how did it go, well we ran with Munchkin 1+2, Star munchkin, munchkin fu, super munchkin and munchkin blender all lined up, and the players just picked which deck to draw from. It didn't take long for me and shane to find out that the blender deck only had monsters of level 1 or 10. Jen just took cards from the fu deck as it was the closest, but it worked really well, we all had more + levels to monster cards so it was good. Shane got a super skill that let him steal things on a 5+, if he failed he lost a level, so at one stage he was level 2 but was fighting at level 30 odd. I think everyone got to level 9 (bar shane and his sticky fingers) at some stage in the game.
So how was top of the dogpile? Jen was at level 9 for some time and had to sell, steal and work hard to stay there, hayley got to level nine and then got stung by mandys dogpile, i kept on trying to steal my way to the top but my die rolls were crap, paul got to 9 but couldn't really push on from there, mainly due to shane trying 6 time to nick his sword! So that left mandy, with a good move she played a card that stole a easy monster from shane and with most people burnt their good cards on each other, so she won.
It was a really good night, and it only going to get better the more we play. Looking to get some more decks, and i'm sure shane will as well.
